You gotta know the rules of art if you want to break them! There's no one correct way to create art, there is only methods and guidelines. The same goes for teaching it, so I adapt to the student as I explain things in such a way that is understood and absorbed. Also because I make it FUN! And perhaps the fact that I have (and still do) produce and sold at least one frameable peice of artwork in every known medium and style.
